Meet Ezra, and the friend he built
Ezra would much rather talk to a circuit board than to the kids in his class. So he builds himself a friend out of an old toaster, a spare webcam, two springs and a whole roll of sticky tape. Meet Glitch: cheerful, loyal and completely sure of himself. That's the problem, because nearly every piece of advice Glitch gives is wrong. Tell a joke in the middle of assembly? Glitch says yes. Fix a falling-out with a spreadsheet? Glitch says definitely. As one plan after another goes sideways, Ezra starts to learn the one thing no robot can program for him: how to be a real friend.
